Directions Directions: From the ferry terminal head along the main road on foot for about 100 yards. Bear left onto the well-established footpath and follow the shoreline, and the sign for Glenan Bay (Coastal Path). After a few minutes, when you have passed through the wooded path and crossed the duckboards, you will see a path leading of to the left towards the headland. Take this path and cross the low-lying grassy area before climbing up to the top of the headland. Views of the ferry terminal and the route across to Tarbert can be seen from the top of the headland, amongst the heather. Watch out for adders - Britain's only venomous snake - it lives amongst the heather and in the ground beneath!
