Directions to Claonaig: Take the A83 down the Kintyre Peninsula as far as Kennacraig. A few hundred yards beyond Kennacraig ferry terminal, take the B8001 on the left and continue for almost six miles before taking a left turn and following the sign for the Arran ferry. These last two roads are single track - take care and allow overtaking using passing places!
